• Welcome

    Welcome to the training courses for the Get A Grip and eWalk2 clinical trials. These trials are run by the Spinal Cord Injury Research Centre (SCIRC) at Neuroscience Research Australia (NeuRA). 
    Enter the relevant course to start learning the processes and interventions for each trial. Once your site has completed the training course SCIRC staff will attend your site to provide hands-on and practical training and demonstrations.

Available courses

Get A Grip: Spinal stimulation for upper limb and respiratory function in tetraplegia

Transcutaneous spinal cord stimulation combined with locomotor training to improve walking ability in people with chronic spinal cord injury (eWalk2).
Site PIs and trainers: Complete this course first for eWalk2 training.

Treadmill and overground walking training sessions and relevant trial elements, for walking trainers.
Before starting this course you must complete the above Main Trial Training Course.

Reflex threshold assessment in the eWalk2 trial, for reflex assessors. 
Before starting this course you must complete the above Main Trial Training Course.

Tests and elements of all assessments in the eWalk2 trial, for Blinded Assessors.
Before starting this course you must complete the above Main Trial Training Course.

Assistants will work alongside blinded assessors in all eWalk2 assessments, for assessment assistants.
